New Graduate Registered Nurse

Job Summary and Qualifications Position: New Graduate Registered Nurse (Nurse Residency Program) at HCA Florida Palms West Hospital, Loxahatchee, FL. The Nurse Residency Program is a year‑long paid program designed to provide advanced clinical training, monthly educational sessions, preceptorship, simulation, mentoring, and evidence‑based practice projects. Responsibilities Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, identifying and reporting changes. Perform procedures and monitoring as ordered by the medical provider(s). Document care accurately and timely. Administer prescribed medications, monitor therapeutic response, and intervene if needed. Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs. Teach patients, families, and caregivers about condition, treatment, medications, side effects, and follow‑up. Qualifications Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) obtained within 30 days of employment. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) obtained within 1 year of employment. Other certifications may be required during employment. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Registered Nurse license or Graduate Nurse in the State. No previous experience required. Travel may be required for training.
