Our mission is to empower our clients by offering informed, compassionate care in a supportive atmosphere, ensuring they feel safe and understood during their recovery journey.
Work Environment\nThis position is primarily remote, promoting flexibility and work-life balance while allowing therapists to work from the comfort of their homes. However, you'll occasionally engage in collaboration with our team through virtual meetings and consultations to foster a cohesive approach in delivering care. The office environment is designed to reflect our values of collaboration, support, and professional development, making it an ideal place for mental health professionals who are passionate about trauma-informed care.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n

- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methods, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing and recovery. \n
- Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on aiding patients in processing trauma experiences and building effective coping mechanisms. \n
- Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other health professionals to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to patient care. \n
- Provide crisis intervention and support to patients during trauma-related emergencies while maintaining a calm and composed demeanor. \n
- Educate patients and their families regarding trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources to empower them in their recovery. \n
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation that meets legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with all regulations. \n
- Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities to enhance proficiency in trauma-informed care. \n
- Continuously stay informed about the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to provide the highest level of care. \n
Your primary focus will be individuals affected by various forms of trauma, including but not limited to PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You'll work closely with a diverse group of clients, providing tailored interventions suited to their specific experiences and challenges. By delivering sensitive and high-quality care, you will play a pivotal role in their healing journey.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required. \n
- Must possess a current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Psychologist, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California. \n
- Demonstrable knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies. \n

- The ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to a collaborative environment focused on achieving positive patient outcomes. \n
While two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, we value a strong foundation in trauma-focused therapies and interventions, a commitment to continuous learning, and an ability to adapt to the evolving needs of our clients.
