Senior Rendering Engineer We can hire remote candidates with legal residence in Arizona, California, Florida, Michigan, New York, Texas, Washington and Canada. Responsibilities Architect, refactor and maintain rendering pipelines and features Design, write, debug and refine rendering systems, features, tools and infrastructure as needed Work with the technical art team to develop specifications and new graphics features Optimize graphics and effects to maximize performance and efficiency on CPU and GPU Optimize systems for performance across a wide range of devices, from mobile to PC to high‑end consoles Requirements 5+ years of experience with graphics related responsibilities in commercial game project development Advanced knowledge of C++ programming language applied in various areas of project development; other languages are a plus Experience with Unreal Engine 4 or 5 Strong knowledge of shader languages and GPU hardware, and performance analysis tools Strong math/3D geometry skills Authorization to work in the United States Advantages Degree in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent experience Experience with multi-disciplinary work with large‑scale game engine architecture Strong work ethic, self‑motivated and self‑directing, strong communication skills Experience with deep performance optimization and tuning Prior work, personal or professional, that shows exceptional insight and skill of execution The annual salary range for this position in Los Angeles is $155,000–$185,000. The salary offered may vary based on the candidate’s location, qualifications, experience and relevant expertise, among other factors.
