We aim to push the boundaries of manufacturing to shape a future where technology and humanity intersect.Position Overview:The CNC & Robot Technician will play a key role in supporting the ongoing R&D and production efforts. You'll report to the head of engineering and will work in the machine shop to develop requisite one-off parts to assist across projects, leveraging heavy equipment like industrial robotic arms and CNC machines. This role is ideal for someone experienced in automated systems, manufacturing, and metrology with a passion for innovation.Responsibilities:Program and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as routers, grinding, milling, etc.Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function.Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality. Maintain quality control documents and update setup informationOperate and monitor robotic systems remotely to inspect and maintain manufacturing cellsCollaborate with the technical team to troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to robot operationEnsure that robotic systems are operating within specified parameters and safety standardsOperate, maintain, and troubleshoot robotics and manufacturing equipment.Fabricate, assemble, test, inspect, and maintain production tools and systems.Machine parts using detailed drawings and CAD modelsAssist with the development of robotics-enabled machining functionsQualifications:Extensive knowledge and experience reading and designing CAD and CAM systemsProficiency in reading engineering prints, schematics, and assembly instructions.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.Demonstrated experience working with CNC machinesMust be a US CitizenPreferred Skills:Previous experience working with robotic arms made by manufacturers like Kuka, Kawasaki, Fanuc, Yaskawa, ABB, etc.Welding, Metal Fabrication, or ConstructionExperience writing PLC code and programming CNC machinesFamiliarity with ISO9001 or other quality manufacturing processesWhy Solideon?Join a dynamic, forward-thinking team at the cutting edge of advanced manufacturing.Contribute to innovative projects that aim to reshape the future of production.California-Specific Employment Information:Compensation will be based on experience and will comply with California's minimum wage requirements.Solideon offers competitive benefits, including health insurance, paid time off, and more options.This position complies with California's mandated break and rest period laws.Equal Opportunity Employer:Solideon values diversity and inclusivity.
