Medical Temporaries, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced ***Medical Receptionist***.

• Minimum of at least six months of experience required.

This is a FULL TIME/TEMP TO HIRE position requiring availability between the hours of 7:30AM/8AM-4:30PM, Monday through Friday, located in Virginia Beach, VA (23454).

Responsibilities :

A Day in the life of a Medical Receptionist:

As a Medical Receptionist you are the first point of contact for patients and visitors. It will be your responsibility to greet patients in a friendly, upbeat, positive manner. Must be able to multi-task to be able to answer the phones, check patients in and out, verify demographics and insurance, schedule, and other tasks as they arise.

Requirements for the Medical Receptionist :

• Required : 6 months of recent prior experience working as a Medical Receptionist
• Required : Positive, up-beat, friendly, energetic personality
• Required : Phone experience
• Required : Scheduling experience
• Required : Ability to pass Background Check
• Required : Must be reliable and a quick learner and have ability to multi-task with accuracy in a very busy environment
• Required : Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to learn quickly

Preferred Qualifications for the Medical Receptionist :

• Preferred : ENT experience and medical terminology knowledge
• Preferred : Medical Manager EMR experience

Benefits:

• $14.00-$15.00 an hour (eligible for profit sharing once hired on)
