Logistics Coordinator
Hornet Staffing, Inc, a GEE Group company
High school diploma/GED or equivalent education and experience. 1+ year of experience in logistics, transportation, shipping, dispatch, freight coordination, customer service, or a related field preferred. Bilingual proficiency in English and a second language required; Spanish preferred unless otherwise specified by the client. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Customer service and problem-solving skills. Ability to coordinate shipments, communicate with customers and carriers/vendors, and manage multiple tasks. Basic mathematical skills, including rates, percentages, and calculations. Ability to use computers and learn ERP/logistics systems; experience with TruckMate or similar transportation management systems is a plus. Strong attention to detail, organization, time management, and follow-through. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable, punctual, professional, and comfortable working in a moderately noisy environment. Ability to work Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM, with overtime as required.
