About the Position

Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Tech Duration: 19 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year in PET/CT and General Nuclear Medicine License: State License Certifications: BLS, ARRT or NMTCB Must-Have: Experience in PET/CT and General Nuclear Medicine IV starts, PACS experience Inpatient and outpatient experience Description: Schedule is Monday to Friday. Start times vary from 6:00 AM to 9:30 AM. Must be flexible for 8-hour shifts. Optional 10-hour shifts may be available during holiday weeks. The position requires 1 evening shift and 1 Saturday per month. Federal holidays are observed as off days. Enjoy a steady weekday schedule with a supportive team environment. First-time travelers are welcome. Daily caseload is approximately 33 PET/CT scans. Scans include whole-body FDG, brain, cardiac, and neuroendocrine imaging. The unit has 2 PET/CT scanners. Most cases focus on oncology diagnosis. Scrubs are not provided but grey is preferred. Vaccination for influenza is required, with exemptions for medical reasons only. Candidates must be compliant with credentialing requirements promptly. Two professional references are required; one must come from a manager or supervisor. Other reference requests will not be accepted. This opportunity is open to recent graduates who meet the qualifications.
