Substitute Bus Driver

Glendive Public Schools is looking for reliable and safety-minded Substitute Bus Drivers to step in when our regular drivers are out. If you've got a CDL, a steady hand, and a sense of humor for the occasional "Is this my stop?" moment, we'd love to have you on call.

What You'll Do (When You're Called Into Action):

• Safely operate a school bus on assigned routes and schedules
• Transport students to and from school, activities, and field trips
• Keep students safe, supported, and on time
• Perform basic pre-trip and post-trip safety checks
• Maintain a clean and orderly bus environment
• Follow district policies and all state transportation regulations
• Bring calm, patience, and good judgment to the road

What We're Looking For:

• Valid Montana CDL with required endorsements
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pass background check, drug/alcohol screening, and medical requirements
• Valid CPR and First Aid certification
• Dependable and ready-to-go when the call comes in
• Safety-focused with strong attention to detail
