System Administrator

Expertise and Functions

• Provide system administration of network, web, and/or communication systems, including Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) systems, involving network security
• Prepare technical implementation plans that provide integrated solutions including actions, milestones, timelines and critical paths required for complete solutions
• Perform daily activities of configuration and operation of business systems which may be mainframe, mini, client/server, or cloud based
• Optimize system operation and resource utilization, and performs system capacity analysis and planning
• Provide assistance to users in accessing and using business systems…

Requirements

Education/Training:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in a related field required

• 3+ years working in the DoD sector

• Experience with AWS, Confluence/JIRA or LCMP

• Ability to deliver security briefings and training
• Strong attention to detail and record-keeping abilities
• Capable of working independently and managing multiple security tasks simultaneously
• Proven ability to collaborate with Government, military, and contractor personnel

Security:

• Must be a US citizen
• Must have an active Secret clearance

Physical Requirements:

• Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms

• Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk
• Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)

• Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time

Salary: 

The projected salary range for this position is $84,000-98,000 This is not a guarantee of compensation, rather actual salary will be based on experience, qualifications, and applicable certifications or degrees held. Offered salary may fall outside of this range.
