Predictable Schedule: Standard hours are Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (with proper breaks). If weekend work is ever required (only a couple of times a year), you’ll know well in advance—no surprise Friday afternoon schedule shifts. What You’ll Be Doing System Installation: Pull, terminate, dress, and test Cat5e/Cat6, coax, and fiber. Assemble equipment racks and mount TVs, cameras, access control, and network hardware cleanly. Configuration & Troubleshooting: Program IP-based cameras, access control modules, and networking equipment. Use cable testers, multimeters, and analyzers to diagnose issues fast. Site Ownership: Work off blueprints, maintain a clean workspace and organized van, and keep clients informed and confident. Leadership & Mentorship: Lead smaller projects or help guide junior techs as you step into a Crew Leader position. What We’re Looking For Technician Track: 2+ years of hands-on experience in low voltage cabling, IP surveillance, access control, or networking infrastructure. Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and solid problem-solving skills. Comfortable working on ladders and lifts (typical elevated work ranges from 8 to 30 feet). Comfortable with basic hand tools, mounting hardware, and general physical upkeep tasks. Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record (required for company vehicle insurance). Crew Leader Track (Fast-Track Candidate): 5+ years of field experience, with a track record of running job sites, managing small crews, and dealing directly with clients/GCs. Proven ability to troubleshoot complex IP network/AV issues on the fly. Bonus Points (Not Required): Existing certifications (e.g., CompTIA, IPVM, BICSI, manufacturer specific). Experience with custom residential AV control systems or advanced commercial access control.
