Criminal Defense Attorney JCS Law | Clayton, MO
JCS Law is an award-winning criminal defense firm located in Clayton, Missouri. We are looking for a driven attorney to join our team. You will get the opportunity to work with clients directly in each phase of a criminal case. You will have your own case load and also be supported by experienced trial attorneys who are genuinely interested in your success and advancement. We seek to get the best result possible for each client. Our motto is "Bold and Aggressive Defense". Internally, we also emphasize compassion, organized processes and accountability.
The Role
A typical day will include both time in court and time in the office. You will help clients successfully navigate the legal consequences of criminal charges ranging from DWI and municipal offenses to serious felonies. A journey to a successful client outcome includes listening, setting expectations, carefully reviewing evidence, raising challenges, preparing a strong defense, getting along effectively with prosecutors, arguing motions, and trying cases. The position we offer focuses primarily on state-level criminal defense. We work primarily in St. Louis, St. Charles, Jefferson, and Franklin counties.
This is a long-term position. We invest in our attorneys and expect to grow together.

- New attorneys are welcome to apply
- Admitted to the Missouri Bar (required)
- Admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri (preferred)
- Willing to travel throughout the state as needed
Compensation & Benefits
- $74,000 – $121,000, commensurate with experience
