NERA Analyst/Sr. Analyst - Labor and Employment (Immediate Hire)

We are looking for an intellectually curious, independent‐minded team player with strong project management and quantitative skills for the position of Analyst/Sr. Analyst in the Labor and Employment team at our Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York City, San Francisco, or Washington, DC office. Role Overview This is an exciting opportunity to join a global firm where you will collaborate with economists and industry experts to apply economic and statistical analysis to labor and employment and antitrust matters. Key Responsibilities Collect industry, company, and competitor information; review, summarize, and analyze industry trends. Support preparation of expert reports, technical materials, and oral testimony for arbitration, regulatory proceedings, and litigation. Work independently and collaboratively within project teams to manage projects, workflows, deliverables, and client communications. Produce clear, well‑documented written reports, trial exhibits, slide decks, and visualizations that explain complex analyses to technical and non‑technical audiences. Draft memos and presentation materials. Contribute to proposal and business‑development efforts as needed. Position Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in quantitative disciplines such as economics, business, finance, statistics, mathematics, or related field. Coursework and/or experience in economics, statistics, regression analysis/econometrics and computer programming are desired. Detail‑oriented with strong analytic skills, excellent oral communication skills, and the ability to write in a clear and persuasive manner. Intellectual curiosity and a strong academic record. Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills. Experience working in teams solving problems and delivering creative and innovative solutions. Demonstrated ability to communicate complex concepts effectively. At least 3–5 years of experience in a consulting/professional services environment with proven strength in project management, organization, and conscientiousness about responsibility. Compensation The applicable base salary for this role is $115,000 – $125,000 per year, based on experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance‑based incentives. Work Arrangement Marsh is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working on‑site with clients at least three days per week. Office‑based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person.
