As a key member of the management team, you’ll inspire a high-performance, high-care culture built on speed, service, and “no judgments.” You’ll mentor Group Fitness Coordinators, manage and develop instructors, and ensure every class delivers a “WOW” experience for members. Partnering closely with the VP of Group Fitness, you’ll support operations, training, and KPIs across your market—empowering teams to create warm, welcoming clubs where members achieve their goals and instructors thrive._______________________________________________________________________________________What You’ll Do:As the Market Group Fitness Manager, you’ll play a hands-on leadership role in driving the success of group fitness across your market. You’ll coach, mentor, and support Group Fitness Coordinators and Instructors to deliver exceptional member experiences and operational excellence. You’ll bring energy, accountability, and passion to every club visit—ensuring classes are inspiring, teams are aligned, and standards remain best-in-class.___________________________________________________________________________________________What Success Looks Like:Group Fitness teams fully staffed at PAR levels, with GFCs/GFIs hired, certified (up-to-date CPR), trained (onboarding/ongoing/quarterly), and performing via consistent 1:1 coaching on People/Sales/Facilities/Profit buckets.Club/market KPIs crushed—Utilization/CPH targets hit, scorecards/dashboards green, underperformers turned around through daily reviews, resource alignment, and data-driven reporting to MPs/RVPs.WOW member experience via same-day responses (twilight rules), excellent service, event participation (challenges, launches, pop-ups), and 2x weekly classes taught/subbed.Operational excellence—bi-weekly payroll accuracy/budget adherence, facility checklists passed on visits, new club opening support, and equipment cleanliness/integrity 100%.___________________________________________________________________________________________About You:You naturally create focus and alignment within teams and are comfortable making firm, objective decisions when required. Performance standards are met consistently, with attention given to strengthening the results of others.You operate proactively and take ownership of priorities. Once direction is clear, you move quickly and decisively to deliver outcomes. Steady energy is maintained and follow-through is evident in demanding environments.___________________________________________________________________________________________Responsibilities:Hire, train, and manage performance of a team of qualified Group Fitness Coordinators and Instructors in designated MarketCoach and guide direct reports on how to manage the 4 buckets (People, Sales, Facilities and Profit) within their scope of practice and core competenciesMonitor and conduct 1:1 meetings with each of your designated GFC and Managing Partner to review performance, strengths, weaknesses and plans to deliver individual club KPI metrics and WOW member experienceReview daily scorecard and dashboard to track and measure success and assist underperforming clubs in meeting goalsManage, align, direct resources informed by department KPIs & organizational prioritiesProvide excellent customer service and teamwork by responding within same day(twilight rules) or within 24 hoursReview payroll bi-weekly for accuracy and management of budgeted hours with each Group Fitness CoordinatorEnsure that all GFCs and GFIs have up-to-date certification/CPR recordsProvide education from Onboarding, Ongoing, Development and Quarterly in club training for Group Fitness team and support clubs knowledge and expertise in Crunch classesReview facility equipment integrity and cleanliness during in club visits with checklistSupport New Club Openings as neededTeach 2 regular classes and sub as needed to support ClubsDriving all clubs to meet KPI expectations: Utilization and CPHMaintain PAR level staffing for group fitness instructors per locationProvide qualitative and quantitative data to Market Partners and RVPs to report performance and meet expectations for KPIs in the MarketParticipate in events to drive performance and engagement at the club level including and not limited to: Transformation Challenges, Quarterly Training, New Club Training, New Program Launch, Special Event/Pop up classes, etc._________________________________________________________________________________________Required Qualifications:Prior Management experience leading 3-10 employees requiredExperience teaching exercise classes for clients of all levels (any or all the following genres: Bootcamp based classes, Kickboxing, ZUMBA, TRX, Sculpt, YOGA, Pilates, Cycle, POUND, and HIIT classes)Excellent execution...takes prompt and assertive action to accomplish objectivesUnderstands labor control, optimal staffing levels and controls overtimeLeads by example with all member engagement programs and servicesMaintains high standards so gym is maintained in pristine conditionMobilizes to innovate and problem solvePersuasive, candid communicator who encourages open dialogueSets examples in all behaviors and actionsDemonstrates integrity and judgment that inspires trustBusiness Acumen: Basic understanding of industry, market, and key business drivers (willingness to learn)Creates a learning environment, strives for personal developmentDrives self and others to achieve extraordinary resultsDemonstrates confidence, humility and kindness mixed with humor and funPhysical RequirementsAble to lift or move up to 50 lbs occasionallyPhysical effort required for daily duties include prolonged standing and walkingCPR/AED certifiedEducation RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED requiredBachelor degree preferred___________________________________________________________________________________________Travel:Up to 75% travel required___________________________________________________________________________________________BenefitsPTOSubsidized health insurance coverage (health, dental, vision) for full time positionsBasic Life and AD&DHSAShort-term disabilityFree gym membership___________________________________________________________________________________________EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYERUDT is an Equal Opportunity Employer, a drug-free workplace, and complies with ADA regulations as applicable.
