Certified Nursing Assistant – Nursing

Schedule: Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Assignment Details:

Guaranteed Hours: 36.00
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor: Required
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification: Required
At least two years recent experience in the field
Current nursing license per the state of assignment
EMR experience: Required

Roles & Responsibilities:

Provide personal nursing care to patients as directed by a licensed registered nurse (RN).
Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, feeding, nutrition, hydration, and personal care.
Takes vital signs, including pulse and blood pressure, and reports findings to the RN.
Perform clerical duties, such as routing patient reports appropriately.
Maintain organization within the unit, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
Provide assessment data to the certified nurse within the scope of practice.

Compliance / Notes:

Associate vaccinations required as a condition of employment. Medical and religious exemptions may apply.
