Clinical Responsibilities Administer psychotropic medications, including long-acting injectable antipsychotics (LAIs) Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments, including vital signs, physical health screenings, and psychiatric evaluations Monitor medication effectiveness and side effects Coordinate laboratory testing, including Clozapine monitoring, Lithium levels, metabolic panels, and other required labs Collaborate with psychiatrists, primary care providers, specialists, hospitals, and community agencies to coordinate care Educate clients on medications, chronic disease management, nutrition, wellness, and preventive healthcare Respond appropriately to urgent clinical situations while exercising independent nursing judgment Team Collaboration Participate in daily interdisciplinary treatment team meetings Provide medical consultation and education to behavioral health staff Assist in treatment planning and health-related interventions Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation Ensure compliance with agency, state, and county standards Qualifications Required Current, unrestricted Utah Registered Nurse (RN) License Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) ADN candidates with significant related experience may also be considered Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience Current CPR/BLS Certification Valid driver's license Ability to work independently in community settings Preferred Psychiatric or Behavioral Health Nursing experience Community Mental Health experience Crisis intervention experience Experience administering Long-Acting Injectable (LAI) medications Experience working with individuals with co-occurring substance use disorders Familiarity with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) ANCC Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing Certification (RN-BC) Ideal Candidate We're looking for someone who: Enjoys working independently while remaining part of a collaborative clinical team Has strong assessment and critical thinking skills Builds trust quickly with patients experiencing serious mental illness Is passionate about improving access to quality behavioral healthcare Thrives in a community-based setting rather than a traditional hospital environment Benefits $75,000–$80,000 annual salary (DOE) Annual merit increases Performance bonus opportunities Generous PTO program 15 Paid Holidays (including your birthday) Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401(k) with employer match Ongoing professional development Supportive leadership and collaborative work environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
