Job Description
The role involves providing psychiatric services in a 10-bed inpatient unit that caters to residents of Vermont and neighboring counties in New Hampshire. The focus is on treatment for individuals aged 18 and over, with referrals coming from crisis teams, emergency departments, and outpatient providers.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality psychiatric care to inpatient individuals.
- Perform phlebotomy and blood draws as part of patient care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Ensure patient safety and compliance with facility protocols.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and records.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- 2+ years of current psychiatric nursing experience.
- Current phlebotomy certification and experience.
- Active Vermont RN license.
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
- ACLS and CPI certifications are strongly preferred.
- Travel experience and small critical access facility experience are preferred.
- Must have a personal vehicle for transportation.
