Neurodiagnostic Technologist

Responsible for performing neuro-diagnostic studies including awake, awake/asleep, long term and electrocerebral-silenced electroencephalograms. Responsibilities include assisting with electrocardiodiagnostic studies including ECG's, holtering maximal, submaximal treadmill nuclear stress tests and stress echo treadmill tests.

Licensure and Certification:

• Experience with neurodiagnostic exams or completion of neurodiagnostic training course (didactic/clinical training); that includes one additional modality.
• Current BLS provider card

Education:

• High School graduate or GED equivalent

Experience:

• Experience in Neurodiagnostic studies awake/asleep and long term exam
• NICU and Pediatric exam experience desired
• Treadmill, ECG, and Basic Arrhythmia Course is desired

Knowledge and Skills:

• Neuro-diagnostic studies including awake, awake/asleep, and electrocerebral-silenced electroencephalograms
• Electrocardiodiagnostic studies including ECG's. maximal, submaximal treadmill nuclear stress tests and stress echo treadmill tests desired
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
• Ability to work flexible schedule and take call as needed
• Strong organizational skills
