Senior Tax Analyst (Private Industry)

LHH is partnering with a high-growth, data-driven private company in Atlanta to identify a Senior Tax Analyst to join their Accounting & Finance team. This is a high-visibility role supporting corporate tax compliance, reporting, and audit functions within a collaborative, cross-functional environment. The position offers strong exposure across federal, state, and indirect tax processes, along with the opportunity to help streamline and enhance tax operations. What you’ll be doing: Prepare and analyze general ledger data for tax provision and return processes Support federal, state, and local tax compliance (filings, payments, and reporting) Manage sales tax data and coordinate with external advisors Assist with quarterly tax filings, including excise tax and estimated payments Reconcile tax-related accounts and investigate variances Respond to tax notices and support audit requests Partner cross-functionally with accounting and external providers to ensure accurate reporting What we’re looking for: ~2+ years of experience in tax or accounting (corporate or public background) Hands‑on exposure to tax compliance, filings, or reporting processes Strong Excel skills (data manipulation, reconciliation, analysis) Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple deadlines Collaborative mindset with a proactive, problem‑solving approach Why this role stands out: Broad tax exposure across multiple jurisdictions and tax types Highly collaborative environment with strong leadership support Opportunity to drive process improvements and add real impact Backed by a growing, well-capitalized platform #J-18808-Ljbffr LHH
