Controls Technician Job Title: Controls Technician Job Type: Full-time / Direct Hire Shift: 2nd or 3rd Shift Location: Mebane, North Carolina (Relocation Offered) Pay Range: $41-44/hr What's the Job? Prioritize safety issues and address any safety concerns within the plant environment. Troubleshoot and repair equipment to support facility productivity and reliability. Provide hands‑on technical support for down equipment coverage and project execution. Train operators to perform autonomous maintenance tasks, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Utilize technical skills such as reading electrical schematics, designing electrical panels, and building panel boxes to ensure optimal equipment performance. What's Needed? Experience reading electrical schematics and wiring to prints, designing electrical panels, and building panel boxes. Proficiency troubleshooting electrical systems using test equipment such as multimeters, amp probes, and data recorders. Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) preferred, with the ability to troubleshoot AC and DC motors and controls. Familiarity with servo drives, sensors, vision systems, and PLC controllers, especially Allen Bradley PLCs. Experience performing predictive maintenance including thermographic imaging, ultrasonic testing, vibration analysis, and oil analysis. What's in it for me?
