We’re looking for a Senior Blue Yonder WMS Sustainment Lead with strong techno-functional expertise in Blue Yonder (JDA) WMS to support a large-scale CPG environment. This role requires deep warehouse operations knowledge, hands‑on production support experience, and the ability to drive incident resolution, system enhancements, and operational excellence. Duration: 3-6 Months (Contract-to-Hire) Work Authorization: USC & GC Candidates Only Key Responsibilities & Skills: 8+ years of Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience 5+ years of hands‑on Blue Yonder (JDA) WMS experience Strong expertise with Blue Yonder WMS 2023.x versions (Mandatory) Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for BY WMS production sustainment, support, and optimization Configure and support inbound, outbound, inventory management, replenishment, wave/waveless processing, and yard management processes Experience designing and supporting integrations with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), TMS, automation systems, conveyors, MHE, ASRS, and reporting platforms Perform production support, incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and performance tuning Lead requirement gathering sessions, warehouse walkthroughs, UAT support, cutover planning, and go-live activities Develop and maintain functional design documents, technical specifications, and process documentation Mentor junior consultants and provide knowledge transfer to support teams Strong understanding of BY WMS architecture, data models, APIs, web services, message queues, and SQL troubleshooting Experience supporting RF devices, automation integrations, and warehouse technologies Warehouse & Operational Experience: Deep knowledge of warehouse operations and distribution center best practices Experience supporting retail, wholesale, e-commerce, or 3PL fulfillment environments Ability and willingness to travel frequently to local and regional warehouse locations What We’re Looking For: A highly skilled Blue Yonder WMS Sustainment Lead who can bridge business operations and technical teams, resolve complex production challenges, and drive continuous improvement across warehouse management processes and systems.
