Star Shuttle & Charter is a family-owned transportation company proudly serving Texas for over 30 years. We operate a modern fleet of buses and motorcoaches for charters, tours, and scheduled services. We're currently seeking skilled Bus Mechanics to join our full-time maintenance team and help keep our fleet running safely and efficiently.

As a Bus Mechanic, you'll perform inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on buses, motorcoaches, and related equipment. You'll work in a fast-paced shop environment where safety, reliability, and teamwork are top priorities.

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on buses and motorcoaches

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues

• Repair engines, brakes, transmissions, HVAC systems, and other components

• Conduct road tests and post-repair evaluations

• Maintain accurate service records and documentation

• Ensure compliance with DOT and company safety standards

• Collaborate with drivers and dispatch to address vehicle concerns

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum 2 years of experience in diesel or heavy vehicle maintenance (bus experience preferred)

• Valid driver's license (CDL a plus)

• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics

• Must have own tools

• Must be able to pass background check and drug screening

• $5,000 sign-on bonus (conditions apply)
