Liquor Store Sales Associate / Stocker

We are seeking a  dependable, hardworking, and customer-focused Liquor Store Sales Associate to join our team. This position involves customer service and register duties, but also requires  regular stocking, receiving deliveries, and physical work throughout the shift .

This is an active position and is best suited for someone who is comfortable staying productive, keeping the store organized, and handling cases of beer, wine, liquor, and other merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service
• Operate the cash register and POS system accurately
• Verify customer identification and follow all alcohol-sale laws and store policies
• Receive and check in vendor deliveries
• Verify delivered merchandise against invoices and report shortages or discrepancies
• Unload, move, and stock cases of beer, wine, liquor, and other products
• Regularly lift and move products weighing up to 50–60 pounds
• Stock coolers, shelves, displays, and back-stock areas
• Rotate and organize inventory properly
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, cooler, stockroom, and checkout area
• Assist with inventory counts and product organization
• Monitor the store for theft, damaged merchandise, and other issues
• Complete assigned cleaning and side-work duties
• Follow management instructions and store procedures
• Work independently and remain productive during slower periods

Physical Requirements

Applicants must be physically capable of performing the stocking and delivery responsibilities of this position.

The position requires the ability to:

• Lift and carry up to 50–60 pounds
• Repeatedly lift and move cases during deliveries and stocking
• Bend, reach, squat, push, and pull merchandise
• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Stock products at various shelf and cooler heights
• Assist with unloading and organizing large vendor deliveries

Important

This is not strictly a cashier position. Receiving deliveries, stocking merchandise, maintaining coolers and shelves, and lifting cases weighing up to 50–60 pounds are essential responsibilities of the job.

We are looking for someone who understands that everyone on the team contributes to keeping the store  stocked, clean, organized, and ready for customers.

Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Pay: Based on experience
Schedule: Flexible availability preferred; weekends and holidays may be required
