Schedule: M-F, 8am - 5pm, Onsite (Hybrid work schedule available at the discretion of the manager)
Pay Rate: $68k - $75k annually, DOE 
Location: Garner, NC
Position Type: Full Time

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Daily reconciliation of Bank Accounts.
• Record general ledger transactions related to revenue and expenses by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Assist in month-end close process, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliation, review of accounts, preparation of accruals, and ensure cutoffs for month-end are observed and reported in the correct periods.
• Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions.
• Perform and analyze balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting.
• Assist in preparing audit responses.
• Review and analyze payroll reports and payroll-related JEs.
• Complete all state-mandated sales tax and compliance reporting.
• Responsible for reviewing and reporting AMEX credit card expenses and Concur travel expenses.
• Month-end close responsibilities including timely completion of all checklist items.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team to address Ad Hoc projects and challenges associated with a nimble and fast-growing organization.
• Develop and implement accounting procedures to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Assist with SOX reporting by providing required documentation to fulfil audit requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 3-5 years of Accounting experience.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot tables.
• Strong data analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Self-starter with good collaboration skills.

Physical Effort/Activities: On a continuous basis will work in an office environment, sit at desk for a long period of time, intermittently answer telephone and use a computer to communicate. On an occasional basis in the performance of duties, may be required to walk, stand, and lift up to 50 pounds.
