Big Data Analyst Onsite

Salary: $78,772 - 180,000 per year Requirements:

• We require U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance, with willingness and ability to obtain a CI polygraph.
• We are looking for someone with a bachelors degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.
• We need at least 5 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Data Scientist, Big Data Analyst, or in a comparable role.
• We expect experience building repeatable methods for data evaluation and presenting findings to government or mission stakeholders.
• We prefer experience analyzing technical datasets such as telemetry, telecommunications, cellular, Wi-Fi, or similar data.
• We need hands-on experience with Python, SQL, Spark, PySpark, or similar scripting and data-processing tools.
• We value experience partnering with software engineers to define requirements, provide feedback, and validate technical solutions.
• We require strong written and verbal communication skills.
• We need the ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment.
• We seek strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
• We require the ability to work on-site in Herndon, VA and at our customer site in Springfield, VA as needed.
• Preferred experience includes translating complex technical findings for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Preferred experience includes geospatial analysis, including Activity-Based Intelligence (ABI) or Pattern of Life analysis.
• Preferred experience includes developing, refining, and documenting analytical methodologies.
• Preferred experience includes Elasticsearch and Kibana.
• Preferred experience working directly with government or mission customers.
• Preferred familiarity with GitLab and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Preferred experience with Jupyter Notebooks or Apache Zeppelin.
• Preferred experience supporting intelligence analysts, special operations customers, or similar mission environments.
