Purchasing Logistics Specialist

The Purchasing / Logistics Specialist is responsible for providing administrative and logistics support to Operation team.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review customer orders sent by Customer Service Representative in CRM system.
• Verifying if inventory can be allocated or if products need to be ordered.
• Purchase items and send the supplier the Purchase Orders.
• Follow-up on orders status, updating the CRM system.
• Responsible for answering emails: request from suppliers, order status, Resolve problems with missing items, merchandise not received, damaged merchandise, etc.
• Logistics decisions: shipping instructions to give to supplier, decision on how to ship to customers.
• Issue invoice and packing slip to customer so the shipping department can ship order.

Education, Experience and Knowledge:

• 1 to 3 years of administration experience
• Knowledge of how to properly use Microsoft Outlook is required.
• Logistics Knowledge is a strong asset.
• Superior communication skills and professional attitude
• Bilingual (English and French) is a strong asset.
