Role Description

Rising Star Casino is seeking a full-time, on-site Director of Security to oversee and manage all aspects of security operations at its Rising Sun, IN location. The Director of Security will be responsible for implementing and maintaining security protocols, supervising security personnel, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations, managing both physical and cybersecurity measures, and coordinating emergency response procedures. This leadership role requires a proactive approach to safeguarding the property, employees, and guests while maintaining a secure and welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Physical Security and Security Management to oversee day-to-day safety operations and develop comprehensive security plans.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills for supervising security staff and fostering a culture of safety.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, risk assessment, and incident response procedures.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in high-pressure situations.
• Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in the gaming, hospitality, or entertainment industries is highly desirable.
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are a plus.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Level 1 Indiana Gaming License.
