Counter Server Position at Due' Cucina Italiana

Join our fun team! Our restaurant is looking for a counter server at our Lakewood/Dallas location! The restaurant is located at 1900 Abrams Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75214.

At Due' Cucina Italiana we love food that is real, fresh and authentic. We serve homemade pasta bowls and other dishes inspired by the best of the Italian tradition. All of our dishes are cooked fresh from scratch every day, including our pasta that is extruded in the pasta lab right inside our restaurant.

• Competitive compensation, based on experience $ 21.00 - $ 23.00 /hour (base wage of $ 16.00 - $ 18.00 /hour plus an additional $ 5.00 /hour in tips (approximated) for a combined wage range of $ 21.00 - $ 23.00 /hour)

In this role, you will:

• Demonstrate and uphold our company core values at all times.
• Learn and master the art of making fresh pasta.
• Familiarize yourself with our menu and guide customers through their Due' experience.
• Communicate effectively with delivery drivers (UberEats, DoorDash, etc) to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Maintain accurate menu inventory across all delivery platforms.
• Ensure compliance with Covid-19 precautionary measures in the dining area.
• Collaborate with BOH team members or managers to address customer concerns or dissatisfaction with any dish.
• Maintain cleanliness in all dining areas and the pasta lab, especially after pasta preparation is completed.
• Greet every customer warmly to ensure they feel welcome.
• Other duties as necessary or assigned.

Experience: Previous customer service experience in restaurants is highly appreciated, but if you don't have it, no problem! We will train you :)

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Minimum 21 years old (alcohol service required).
• Possesses or willing to obtain a current Food Handler Card and Alcohol Server Permit.
• Ability to stand continuously throughout an 8-hour shift.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop and move quickly.
• Finger/hand dexterity to operate kitchen machinery, knives, etc..
• Ability to withstand changes in temperature, occasional smoke, steam and heat and work in a confined area.
• Ability to work under stress.
• Scheduling flexibility.
• Ability to speak or understand Spanish a plus (although not required).
