Location: Sioux Falls, SD

Pay: $18-$20/hour

Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30 am- 4:30 pm

Our company is seeking a dependable and hardworking Custodial Worker to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. The Custodial Worker will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining classrooms, offices, restrooms, common areas, dormitories, and campus facilities while following established safety and sanitation procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize classrooms, offices, hallways, restrooms, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces throughout campus buildings.
• Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste properly.
• Clean and restock restroom supplies, including soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
• Maintain the cleanliness of entryways, stairwells, and student gathering areas.
• Operate custodial equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, and carpet cleaners.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, or facilities maintenance experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sioux Falls, SD.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
