Registered Nurse - Mother/Baby Care

Location: Plano, TX

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Nights

Job Description: We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses with a background in mother/baby care. Candidates with step-down NICU baby experience are preferred, as our staff may be required to float to that unit to attend to NICU step-down cases.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care to newborns and mothers in a mother/baby setting.
• Float to NICU step-down unit as necessary for patient care.
• Adhere to hospital policies and protocols during shifts.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active TX RN license (temporary licenses will not be accepted).
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of hospital experience in mother/baby care.

Preferred Skills / Advanced Skills Needed:

• Experience with couplet care.
• Familiarity with S.T.A.B.L.E. program.
• Experience with Meditech documentation system.
