Forklift Operator

Forklift OperatorFilterbuy, a leader in the air quality and manufacturing world, is seeking a Forklift Operator to oversee incoming inventory operations and support warehouse efficiency at our facility. This role is responsible for ensuring all inbound shipments are accurately received, inspected, and processed while maintaining a safe and organized receiving environment.This role will report to the Warehouse Manager, working Thursday - Sunday 6:30am - 5:00pm.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks to unload incoming shipments from trucks and containersVerify shipment contents against purchase orders, packing slips, and invoices for accuracyInspect incoming goods for damage, discrepancies, or defects and report issues to the appropriate teamEnter received inventory into the warehouse management system (WMS) accurately and in a timely mannerTransport received goods to designated storage locations using forklift and other powered industrial equipmentStack, organize, and store palletized inventory safely and efficientlyCommunicate with purchasing and procurement teams regarding shortages, overages, or damaged goodsPerform daily pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any equipment issuesMaintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving dock and warehouse areaAssist with cycle counts and periodic physical inventory auditsCoordinate with shipping carriers for delivery scheduling and documentationAdhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety policiesRequired skills and qualifications:Valid forklift certification (sit-down counterbalance, reach truck, or stand-up) required1–2 years of forklift operation experience in a warehouse or distribution environmentFamiliarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer skillsAbility to read and interpret purchase orders, packing slips, and shipping documentsAbility to work Thursday - Sunday 6:30am - 5:00pmStrong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory record-keepingAbility to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and stand/operate equipment for extended periodsKnowledge of OSHA forklift safety standards and best practicesStrong communication and organizational skillsHigh school diploma or GED requiredNice-to-Haves:Experience in air filter, HVAC, or related manufacturing/distribution industriesFamiliarity with lean, 5S, and continuous improvement principlesExperience interpreting and applying receiving regulations and carrier requirementsThis job description is not all-encompassing; however, it is intended to be a general description of the responsibilities of this position.Filterbuy provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetics or any other legally protected category.
