Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. For positions that perform IT responsibilities, use E646, Systems Engr-IT.Basic Qualifications• Bachelors degree (or higher) in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, reliability engineering, safety engineering, systems engineering, or a related discipline with 7+ years of related experience.• Demonstrated Experience in one or more of following domains: Systems Engineering, Reliability and Maintainability, System Safety, or Integrated Logistics Support• Solid understanding of system engineering principles and practices• Experience with project life cycle, including requirements definition, design, development, integration, & verification.• Experience with proposals and cost estimatingDesired SkillsPrior leadership or management experience Knowledge with Vemo and staffing analysis Experience with Digital Transformation & Model Based Engineering.Understanding with EVMS and Cost Account Management (CAM) responsibilitiesExperience in establishing milestones and monitoring adherence to master plans and schedules.Experience with process transformational initiatives (e.g., Artificial Intelligence, automated data analysis, digital thread integration) that increase efficiency and productivity.Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
