Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/09/2026 Duration: 8 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) registered nurse position located at a Level II Trauma Center. This assignment involves providing specialized care to pediatric (1 year and older), adult, and geriatric patients following various surgical procedures, including vascular, general, orthopedic, urology, gynecology, neuro/spine, and others. The role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on recovery and patient stabilization. Job Details Certifications: ACLS, BLS Education Requirements: Valid state license; compact license accepted if applicable, at least 1 year of experience required Location Requirements: No local acceptance; must be outside a 50-mile radius from the facility Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a PACU or related specialty Schedule: Day shift, 10 hours per day, at least 40 hours per week, starting on 11/09/2026 and ending on 01/04/2027 Responsibilities include monitoring patient recovery post-surgery, administering medications, assessing vital signs, and coordinating care with surgical teams. Candidates should be prepared to float between nearby facilities if required. Submission must include responses to previous employment at a healthcare facility and references covering the past 1 year, with a minimum of 2 references. Candidates are expected to work during major holidays with prior scheduling requests and must adhere to the contracts specific scheduling and RTO policies.
