To thrive in this position, you’ll bring the following:
- Current NC SLP license and NC Teaching Certification (required)
- Clinical Certification of Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Previous experience in schools, pediatrics, or comparable healthcare settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, staff, and families
- Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered therapy practices
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing direct speech and language therapy to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Conducting evaluations, progress monitoring, and assessments as required
- Collaborating with teachers, school psychologists, and other professionals to support student development
- Maintaining documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participating in IEP meetings and parent consultations
