Elkins Estate is one of the most architecturally significant private estates on the East Coast, 42 acres of restored Gilded Age grandeur in Elkins Park, brought to life by By Landmark Hospitality. We're looking for a skilled catering cook who understands that the food at an event like this isn't just food. It's part of the experience.
This role supports high-end weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations. You'll work alongside a seasoned events team, executing seasonal menus with precision, professionalism, and care.
What you'll do
- Execute banquet and plated event menus for weddings, private dinners, and corporate events
- Prep and mise en place for all catering functions, set up, service, breakdown
- Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, and timing throughout service
- Work collaboratively with the front-of-house team and event coordinators
- Uphold By Landmark's brand and food standards at every event
- Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and health code requirements
What we're looking for
- 2+ years of professional kitchen experience; catering or banquet background preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, time-sensitive event environment
- Strong knife skills and foundational cooking techniques
- Reliable, composed, and detail-oriented, especially under pressure
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain
