We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer, with a strong background in the water-wastewater industry, to join our Resilience Water team in the Northeast. While White Plains, NY is a preferred location for this role, our team is open to candidates throughout the Northeast.

The primary focus of this role will be to provide technical and design consulting services on various projects with a focus on electrical power distribution, electrical controls, lighting, fire alarm, access control, and communications, to support projects for the Water Division.

Role accountabilities include:

• Establishing design criteria, performing design calculations, developing one-line diagrams, control schematics, plans, and specifications.
• Performing engineering services during construction, including reviewing equipment submittals, shop drawings, and responding to contractor RFI's (request for information).
• Conducting field inspections, assisting with projects in construction, which includes identifying deviations from design, and monitoring safety compliance.

Some travel may be required to support project needs.

Key skills and attributes include:

• Prior demonstrated consulting experience with water/wastewater and industrial facilities a must.
• Experience using AutoCAD MEP (2D and 3D), Revit, SKM Power Tools, short circuit calculations, overcurrent coordination, and/or arc flash analysis, and photometric study.
• Solid working knowledge of the National Electrical Code requirements.
• Willingness and desire to mentor junior/staff electrical engineers.
• Excellent customer/client service skills along with clear and concise, verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams effectively to complete projects on time and on budget.

Required qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, a related discipline or equivalent work experience
• 10 years of relevant experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE)

We offer nine paid holidays and 20 days of PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $175,000 - $200,000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project, and location.
