Cafe Associate

Responsibilities Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources. Prepare food according to item specifications, plan future productions, accommodate seasonality, and adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management, operating, maintaining, and sanitizing equipment, and demonstrate an understanding of product and layout execution. Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; utilize handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, ordering merchandise, receiving club pick‑up orders, training, and product quality while keeping the member in mind. Drive the performance of the area by stocking and rotating merchandise, ensuring quality and date‑control standards, eliminating waste, and providing member service by acknowledging members, identifying their needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, processing payment types, locating merchandise, and resolving member issues and concerns. Serve as a brand advocate, develop, influence, and inspire others, understand roadblocks, and assist in training. Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, implement related action plans, use the Open Door Policy, and apply these in executing business processes and practices. Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other business partners; identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carry out tasks; communicate progress and information; determine and recommend ways to address improvement opportunities, and adapt to and learn from change, difficulties, and feedback. Compensation The hourly wage range for this position is $20.00 to $28.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Minimum Qualifications Acknowledge that the position requires successful completion of all job‑required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period. Must be 18 years of age or older.
