Contracted position with state approved hourly rate of $65.00 an hour. Hours are flexible with 15-20 hours a week with potential of working toward full time, if desired. Develop and implement annual Individualized Education Plans (IEP) for students Schedule IEP meetings with team members Collect data for on-going progress monitoring Apply research-based learning strategies and interventions to support student’s IEP and progress Manage a safe and effective learning environment Collaborate and consult with general education teachers, administrators, and parents to support student’s learning outcomes Requirements Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Must hold a valid K-6 or K-12 special education license in the state of Nebraska Subject to a Background Check Have a strong knowledge base to deliver individualized instructional and educational services Have an understanding of the processes and procedures of providing Special Education services Ability to effectively analyze student needs and problem solve Ability to establish and maintain positive rapport with students, parents, teachers and administration Application Instructions Please apply via email to Dr. Anita Harkins-Mehsling View email address on click.appcast.io with a resume and cover letter. #J-18808-Ljbffr Archdiocese of Omaha
