Speech Language Pathologist - Travel Contract

Join our travel therapy team as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Wichita, KS at a skilled nursing facility. Minimum Qualifications Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program. Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA. Active Kansas SLP license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience working in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred. Experience managing dysphagia evaluations and treatment, tracheostomy and ventilator-related communication, and cognitive-communication disorder interventions preferred. Preferred Qualifications Previous travel therapy experience preferred. Experience with electronic medical records preferred. Ability to work independently and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams preferred. Assignment Details 5 days per week, 32 hours guaranteed (schedule reflects four 8-hour or five-day coverage as determined by facility).
