Opportunity:

RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Thursday from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• On-call responsibilities Monday through Thursday from 5:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• On-call every 4th weekend Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:30 AM to 6:30 AM
• On-call 1-2 nights per week
• Holiday on-call coverage as needed
• 30-minute call response time required
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA)
• Wisconsin nursing license required
• BSN not required
• Provide sedation, monitoring, and circulating during cardiac procedures
• Handle coronary procedures, interventional radiology procedures, and vascular procedures
• Must have sedation experience and reversal knowledge
• Experience with cardiac drips and medications required
• Work with Cerner and Merge EMR systems
• Occasional floating to provide 1:1 sitter assistance
• Light blue scrubs provided by hospital
• Complete CBTs within first week and orientation binder check-off
• Must clock in and out at facility
• RNs not required to scrub in procedures

Facility:

This medical center operates a 2-suite cardiac catheterization laboratory performing approximately 6 cases per day. The facility provides comprehensive cardiovascular and interventional radiology services with specialized equipment and technology. The organization maintains high standards for cardiac care and utilizes modern EMR systems to support patient care delivery. The facility experiences periodic STEMI diversions due to cardiology coverage limitations.
