Procurement Analyst (Washington, DC)

Full Time Professional Fairfax, VA, US Washington, DC, US Salary Range: $80,000.00 To $100,000.00 Annually Position Summary: Central Research, Inc. (CRI) is looking for a Procurement Analyst to support our federal government contract. The Procurement Analyst performs research, data analysis, policy support, procurement reporting, process analysis, and acquisition-support activities for a federal procurement organization. The position applies analytical methods to procurement information and develops accurate, well-supported work products for review by senior personnel. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Research federal procurement regulations, policies, procedures, market information, and acquisition practices. Collect, organize, validate, and analyze procurement data. Develop spreadsheets, reports, charts, and analytical summaries. Assist with procurement workload, cycle-time, milestone, and performance analysis. Support development and maintenance of procurement policies, procedures, templates, and SOPs. Assist with audit-response research and documentation. Support market research, acquisition strategy research, and requirements development. Assist with preparation of briefings, reports, issue papers, and management materials. Research information in PRISM or comparable contract-writing systems, SharePoint, FPDS, SAM, and other approved sources. Identify data inconsistencies, process gaps, and opportunities for improvement. Support training materials and end-user guidance. Maintain organized records and documentation in accordance with applicable requirements. Perform other related duties consistent with the position’s scope and the needs of the program. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, economics, procurement, analytics, or a related field. 4 years of relevant professional experience in analysis, procurement, contracting, program support, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to research, interpret, organize, and present information accurately. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal Public Trust Determination (financial/credit history and background will be reviewed): Not in default on federal student loans. Demonstrated financial responsibility. No felony convictions within the past 7 years. Misdemeanor convictions within the past 7 years may impact eligibility. No non-medical collections totaling $7,500 or more. Preferred Qualifications: Federal acquisition experience. Experience with procurement databases or contract-writing systems. Power BI, Tableau, or other data-analysis/data-visualization experience. CPCM, FAC-C, DAWIA, or comparable training/certification. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to apply sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and work with sensitive Government and contractor information. Ability to organize work, prioritize competing assignments, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate records. Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with internal team members, Government personnel, customers, and other authorized stakeholders. Ability to work independently while operating within established procedures, quality standards, and supervisory direction. Demonstrated commitment to accuracy, quality, responsiveness, customer service, and professional conduct. Ability to use Microsoft Office and other systems necessary to perform assigned duties. Ability to comply with applicable security, privacy, records-management, accessibility, and information-protection requirements. Performance Expectations: Work products are expected to be accurate, complete, timely, professional, and appropriate for submission or use by authorized Government personnel. Employees are expected to identify issues promptly, communicate risks or delays through established channels, and participate in corrective actions. Employees assigned to customer sites or Government programs must comply with applicable customer policies, procedures, security requirements, and access restrictions.
