Driver

Fissco Supply is seeking a reliable Driver for our Dallas Distribution Center location. As a Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and safe transportation of products to various locations in Texas. Your responsibilities will be operating commercial vehicles such as a van or box truck, while adhering to all safety protocols as well as general warehouse duties. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to the overall efficiency of our supply chain and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Ability to operate commercial vehicles, including box trucks and vans to transport and deliver goods safely, efficiently, and in compliance with DOT regulations Ability to adhere to all company policies regarding transportation and safety Optimize delivery schedules by planning and navigating efficient routes using GPS technology and digital mapping systems Ensure vehicle safety and compliance by performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, documenting maintenance needs, and tracking hours of service Manage end-to-end logistics, including loading, unloading, and verifying inbound merchandise in accordance to facility guidelines Maintains cleanliness inside of the truck Organizes product for easy storage and retrieval Executes warehouse organization strategies, utilizing proper material handling equipment to move, efficiently stack, and store products in designated zones with proper equipment Maintains total compliance with workplace safety standards, including OSHA and SDS (formally MSDS) guidelines, while keeping a clean, orderly, and secure facility at all times. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver's license with a clean driving history Fully prepared to successfully complete a background and drug screen Proven experience in truck driving and transportation management, including the safe operation of light commercial motor vehicles such as box trucks and vans Comprehensive knowledge of transit regulations and facility safety protocols Highly familiar with warehousing operations and logistics workflows; skilled at route optimization using advanced GPS technology and physical map systems. Physically agile and capable of lifting, moving, and stacking up to 70 pounds on a consistent basis throughout a shift Self-motivated and customer-service orientated professional with sharp attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the capability to work efficiently under minimal supervision Why Work for Fissco Supply?
