Description Key Responsibilities

• Scrutinize test outcomes for their accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and ensure that lab instruments undergo preventive maintenance and calibration.
• Support specimen collection tasks and prepare samples for testing, as required.
• Meticulously document all procedures, assist in training new employees or students, and ensure that laboratory quality benchmarks are upheld.
• Commit to maintaining a safe, orderly work environment, while strictly following regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health discipline along with the preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) is to be obtained within your first year of employment.
• Maintain ongoing certification throughout your tenure.
