Phlebotomist- PRN, DaysThe phlebotomist is responsible for obtaining specimen patients via venous, capillary or finger sticks. The phlebotomist verifies patient identification and explains sampling process to the patient. The phlebotomist verifies patient identification prior to collection. Additionally, the phlebotomist maintains specimen integrity by using aseptic techniques, following department or special procedures.
