Job Title: Shipping Technician

Job Description

Join our team as a Shipping Technician, where you will play a crucial role in our warehouse operations. You will be responsible for picking and packing up to 300 supplement product packages per day, ensuring they are ready for shipment. This position requires standing for the entire shift and handling packages weighing up to 50lbs. You will be part of a small team, where attendance and accuracy are paramount. Each station is equipped with a computer, and you will manage tasks such as reading and writing emails using Microsoft Outlook. As this is an FDA-approved facility, maintaining a clean room atmosphere is essential.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack supplement products, processing up to 300 packages per day.
• Stand at an assigned station for the entire shift.
• Lift and push packages weighing up to 50lbs.
• Empty two small carts per hour until proficient.
• Utilize computer systems to confirm orders and create shipping labels.
• Read and write emails using Microsoft Outlook.
• Maintain a clean room atmosphere in an FDA-approved facility.
• Ensure high accuracy in order fulfillment and label creation.

Essential Skills

• Previous picking or packing experience in a warehouse setting.
• Proficiency with computer systems, including ERP software.
• Ability to lift and push up to 50lbs.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure order and label accuracy.
• Basic math and computer skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
• Problem-solving skills.
• Experience with FedEx and USPS shipping processes.

Work Environment

This is a fast-paced and highly regulated environment, working with pharmaceutical products in a warehouse setting. Shipping Technicians will strictly follow established procedures and adhere to SOPs and cGMPs. The facility is solely a warehouse, and the dress code requires maintaining a clean room atmosphere.

This is a Contract position based out of Benicia, CA.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
