Seeking a strategic and skilled External Communications Specialist, the full-time remote position will develop, write, and edit various external communication materials while managing a LinkedIn program for executives to enhance brand visibility and engagement. Key responsibilities Develop, write, and edit external communication materials such as press releases, media pitches, and executive speeches Manage and execute a LinkedIn program for executives, crafting posts that reflect an authentic executive voice Support media relations efforts by creating proposals and press kits that communicate organizational priorities effectively Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in communication, journalism, public relations, or a related field 2 to 5 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or journalism Proven experience in writing for LinkedIn and other social platforms, with a strong understanding of audience engagement strategies Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to tailor content for diverse audiences Familiarity with media relations and best practices in public relations
