Responsibilities Oversee daily store operations, ensuring smooth functioning of sales, customer service, inventory control, and cash handling procedures. Manage inventory levels through effective purchasing, stock replenishment, merchandising, and stock control strategies. Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for transactions and sales reporting; ensure accuracy in cashiering and cash handling processes. Develop and execute operational plans for store maintenance to optimize efficiency. Apply strong managerial communication skills to coordinate with staff across departments effectively. Maintain organizational skills to keep the store clean, organized, and compliant. Qualifications Proven management experience within the retail industry. Demonstrated experience in retail sales management, inventory management, merchandising, and operational oversight. Excellent communication skills. Proficiency with POS systems and basic math for financial transactions. Knowledge of retail industry best practices including pricing strategies, sales techniques, stock control, and customer service excellence. Ability to handle cash accurately and perform cashiering duties confidently; experience with cash handling protocols is essential. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively across multiple responsibilities such as training & development and operational management.
