Authorization Specialist

Authorization Specialist Join a fast-paced orthopedic team where your attention to detail helps patients move one step closer to the care they need. As our Authorization Specialist, you'll play a key role in securing prior authorizations for imaging, durable medical equipment, injections, and other ancillary services. This full-time position is ideal for someone with at least one year of medical-office administration experience who enjoys problem-solving, coordinating with insurance carriers, and supporting a smooth patient experience from start to finish. Responsibilities Include: Management of ancillary authorizations, for all clinic providers Obtaining and following up of authorizations Answering patient phone calls pertaining your job responsibilities Answering back-office questions pertaining to your job responsibilities Faxing orders to other facilities with notes re. authorizations Management of insurance eligibility worklist About Us Flagstaff Bone and Joint has been providing exceptional orthopedic care to Northern Arizona since 1978.
