What You'll Do
- Provide quality patient care to critically ill adult patients in a 20-bed unit
- Monitor vital signs and manage patient assessments
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient care activities accurately and promptly
- Adhere to hospital protocols and standards for safety and quality
- Support patient and family education during their stay
What You Need
Required:- Massachusetts RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in critical care or ICU settings
- Strong assessment and communication skills
- Experience with adult ICU patients
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
About the Assignment
This critical care RN position is based at a leading healthcare facility in Pittsfield, MA, specializing in acute patient care. The unit is a 20-bed facility with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:2, focusing on delivering exceptional critical care services in a supportive environment. Personal scrubs of any color are permitted, and orientation is 8 hours with holiday and overtime multipliers at 1.25x.
