Surgical Technologist
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Surgical Technologist to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing operating rooms, ensuring that surgical equipment and instruments are properly sterilized, and assisting surgeons during surgical procedures.
Position Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms for surgery, including arranging equipment and supplies.
- Sterilize surgical instruments and ensure that they are properly stored.
- Assist surgical team during procedures by passing instruments, sutures, and other supplies to surgeons.
- Monitor surgical equipment to ensure that it is functioning properly.
- Handle specimens and send them to the laboratory for analysis.
Position Requirements
- Two (2) years of scrub of surgical tech experience
- Current Minnesota License/Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Pre-employment drug testing required
