Position PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Ashland City, TN Shift requirements: Work 4 shifts in a 28‑day period, including two weekend shifts. Shifts are not assigned; may be day or night 12‑hour shifts (6 am–6 pm or 6 pm–6 am). About Oak Plains Academy Oak Plains Academy is a 98‑bed residential treatment program providing psychiatric services to children and adolescents. The campus offers a full‑size gymnasium, dining hall, academic building, and four dormitories on 20 acres of rolling hills. Responsibilities Provide routine health maintenance, medication administration, medical record documentation, and support physicians within a therapeutic milieu. Serve as a role model for staff and students in dress and demeanor. Perform proper HWC techniques, ensuring patient and staff safety; complete debriefings as required. Render professional nursing care, conduct ongoing patient assessment, and update care plans. Administer medications accurately and document all data according to facility policy. Participate in formulation and implementation of individual care plans. Qualifications Current license to practice nursing in Tennessee. Current BLS certification, maintained upon hire. Preferred experience with children/adolescents and in a psychiatric residential setting. Must complete two weeks of orientation (Monday‑Friday, 8 :00 a.m.–4 :30 p.m.).
